Lucio Campanelli Founder & CEO Lucio founded Inpulse in 2011 with the vision that one day people will access knowledge safely and easily without having to compromise their freedom or privacy. Few years later he pivoted the business from delivering software services into manufacturing wearables for the security and identity access management (IAM) sectors. The same year he founded the first R&D Lab in the heart of San Francisco combining Silicon Valley fabrication technologies with Italian design practices. Lucio is also a product design lead at Google innovating in the space of cloud data loss prevention and security. Prior to Inpulse and Google he worked at HPE, and VMware managing product design teams in the cloud security, virtualization and data center orchestration software space. His innovative product design and artistic approach led to acquisitions and generated multi-million dollar revenue products. Lucio grew up in Rome, Italy where he received a BA in architecture. He has an MS in Information Science from UWM. |
Andy Stortroen Head of Manufacturing With more than 40 years of experience in manufacturing including injection molding, spin casting, electroforming, and CNC machining, Andy adds immeasurably to the Inpulse team. He pioneered the use of spin casting techniques for the production of large scale jewelry and digital devices using rapid fabrication processes learned from both traditional Italian jewelry makers and aerospace prototyping techniques at NASA. At Inpulse, Andy is leading the construction of the manufacturing process and machinery to make sure we are able to scale production quickly and efficiently. Prior to joining the Inpulse team, for 35 years he managed to build, launch and develop hundreds of projects and production plans for multiple industries in the Bay Area including consumer electronics, medical devices, jewelry, and aviation. Some of his projects include engineering parts for the aircraft A6 warthog in the nineties, and the creation of one of the first WIFI box prototype for Apple in the late nineties. Andy grew up in California and has a MS in Physics. |
